Late Night KarmelKorn!!

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6-8 qt. popped popcorn

In heavy saucepan, over medium-low heat, combine butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Then add baking soda. Pour over popped popcorn, mixing well. Bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool. Break into pieces.
